Hi - I'm returning to Vegas this year for the second time. Had a great time last year @ Club XS. This year I'm going to see Tiesto @ Hakkasan. Last year I was able to stroll into XS without much wait. However, I seem to remember reading on the forum last year that sometimes people will have to wait in line @ Hakkasan for several hours and still won't be able to get in. I think some people mentioned that it was common to tip the door guy $100 to get in.

I went to Hard Rock Hotel's Halloween party last year and I arrived about 1 hour and 5 minutes early and I was the first person in line. After about 10 minutes another 20 people or so showed up. Are the issues I described in the first paragraph still issues @ Hakkasan? If so then will the strategy I used @ Hard Rock Hotel last year most likely work @ Hakkasan this year?

hakkasan has an express pass line i think it cost an extra 100 $ plus cover charge, its marked

get there early as they can close the door down except for tables

he doesnt go on beforare 1 abd sometimes 2 am

@paper - thanks for the tip. Sounds like you're saying that Hakkasan oversells tickets. When do they usually close the doors? Don't a lot of the clubs state "no entry after midnight" on their ticket purchase page? Are you saying that sometimes they even close the doors before then? If I get there 1 hour 5 minutes early then should I be able to get in easily without waiting much longer than that?

Does the "cover charge" for the express pass line refer to the prepaid ticket price or does it refer to an additional fee on top of the ticket price + $100? Do they make any exceptions with the express pass line? For example, would they let a guy and his gf through the express line for $100 or would they most likely still charge $100/head?

Tiesto doesn't go on before 1am and sometimes 2am. Wow. That's a stretch for people with jobs who are usually lights out by 1am. Is that a Tiesto thing because he's so huge? Or is that a Hakkasan thing? Or is that pretty common with big name clubs and big name DJ's in Vegas?

some of your questions there no answer too but , here u go , first off, just to be clear i dont pay to go to clubs so for me its different,

but all all headliner djs go on bewtween 1 am and 2 am , it used to be 1 am but ive seen tiesto go on as late as 2 am, i belive the reason is to get more people in and to resell the tables becuase people who get there at 10 and 11 pm are drunk by 1 am so they leave and there can resell the tables and let more people in.

as to when to there theres no answer, if 5000 people show at 10 pm then they will close the door and only let bottle serrvice in , if only 1000 then it wont matter , like will it rain next wensday.

also the 100 $ express thing is on top of the cover charge u skip the line, theres a seperate entrance i belive u do it when your there, wethere its per person or not no clue.sorry

im pretty sure advanced tics have to be there by a certian time still depends on capacity.

honestly being at hakkasan at 10 pm waiting till 1 am for tiesto to go on you will be bored its also a suasage fest on the main dance floor.ps hakkasan is 3 floors

one option is try to go around 1 am as he on for 2 hours.

theres no real answer except your girfriend will hate you were comfortable shoes

ps drinks are 20 plus dollars

i usually go around midnite , i couldnt care whose djing

also i ould see whos at omnia , if its a big name like calvin harris that wil take the pressure of off hakkasan, ive notice hakksan taking a hit because of omnia. to many clubs

over saturation and there bigger dicks at omnia becuase there the new kid on the block.

also find out if u eat dinner at hakkasan can u get into the club that way, hint hint

    hope this helps

@paper - thanks for the tip about omnia. I always like to be able to tell other vegas goers back home about my experience @ the cool new club. I checked out a few pics and vids online of omnia and that place looks effin spectacular.

Any idea why Hakkasan Group opened another club on the strip? Seems like a direct competitor for Hakkasan unless Hakassan simply could not keep up with the demand. Looks like Calvin Harris and Generik will be performing @ Omnia on Halloween. I think I'll buy tickets for that. The venue looks incredible.

Regarding your comment about eating @ Hakkasan to get into the club, how would that work? Would the server stamp my receipt or my hand? Do you think that would get me into the express line for free?

Thanks for the tip about the levels @ HK. I definitely want to avoid a sausage fest if I have better options. What are the best levels/area of HK and how accessible are the other levels if I don't purchase bottle/table service? Do you have any tips or tricks for getting into the better areas/levels? Here's a url to the levels:

first i find omnia boring sorry, after the chanderlier thats what the whole thing is bult around, second hakkasan owns about 80 percent of all nite clubs in vegas now.the bought out light group.basicaly its all about hakkasan and world demonationtion

call hakkasan restarant and ask them i have no clue if they offer it , it was just a suggestion, there is nothing for free at hakkasan or any club in vegas

3rd, tiestio is in the main room wich is on 2 levels and u cant avoid the susage fest, u have acces to all 3 levels once ur in there , the lower lever is hip hop , the top level unless u have table u wont see from, so your stuck with cock on cock.

i know the club by heart , i perfer the linq linq bar but thats not why your going there .

if u go to omnia , go all the way to the back behind the dj theres a bar, thats the best area to hang .i just find the place boring and be prepaded to wait a be treated like shit.

heres a thread i did on tiesto and hakkasan pics are mine i took from tiestos box

thanks paper. I checked out the pics @ the url u provided. You weren't exaggerating about it being a sausage fest. It looks like 80% guys. Why is that? I went to Club XS last year and there were plenty of ladies. So why does Hakassan seem to get so many more dudes than ladies? How is the girl-to-guy ratio @ omnia?

a couple reasons first as we cal call them drink rats they get brought oveer to drink guys booze for free at there tables, also, they hang at the bar , but its realy a zoo down there and that whenn tiesto went on early at 1 am, its more like a concert , also rember people have been been drinking for 2 plus hours thats if they didnt pre game so there easier passed out or sloppy drunk.

i didnt go after the fight this weekend to hak i went over to hyde but i went on memerial weekend to hardwell, they all sound the same.its the same mess were ever u go.

I sent an inquiry to HK and received the following response:

"We escort all of our guest to the nightclub, so they are able to bypass the lines. Please let our team know if we can further assist you with anything."

    Thanks for the tip, paper!

**is that really true, if you eat dinner there, you can get in quicker?? Is it always true? We have tickets to go in a couple of weeks for a big show and I will make reservations to eat there if it really does help. But if not, I'll eat elsewhere. Thanks for your help!

I haven't waited more than 5 minutes when I've had tickets for Hakkasan. Just show up before midnight and you're good.

I went last year (bought a ticket ahead of time) and didn't have much of a wait to get in. Calvin Harris was there and it was packed. Door guys are definitely dicks so I would leave any attitude at home. They don't mind just blocking access.
