So... we had to change our trip dates and countdown timer. The bad news is I'm not in Vegas today as scheduled. The good news....this coming Friday won't be the end of my Vegas trip but instead, I'll be a week away for a week in fabulous Las Vegas:beer: Plus, I see 3 of the days next week are thunderstorms and unsettled weather and we love our pool time so maybe this is just good karma starting early?:nworthy:

Plus....now we can get tickets to see Rod Stewart:beer:

That's one of the greatest things about Vegas. It's always there.

Also another great reason to fly Southwest. Re-booked our flights on line in 5 minutes and all it cost us was $195 in fare difference. Not bad for booking a flight 14 days out.

Sorry you had to change dates, Dino. But it looks like we'll be there at the same time. How about we hit XS one night? Or maybe EBC? I hear they have a hot DJ in town that weekend!:poke:

Seriously though, I'll pm you with my cell # if you want to have a cocktail or school me in the finer points of DDB.

Only just noticed this post, as I was checking to see if you had written a trip report.

Have a great time and even greater luck on your trip! Let us know how it went, would you?

Joe....as much as I once loved the Mirage, I doubt we'll ever stay there again. It's just a mere shadow of it's old tropical self thanks to MGM:poke:

Still like to try RR sometime but this trip is back to Encore. Hoping the post summer and pre 3 day weekend Sun-Thurs (actually arrive Sat night and leave Fri noon) will have reuslt in a better crowd than summer weekends.
