    My Trip Report

This was a great trip...everything went perfectly.
I checked into the RIO Sunday morning, got my favorite corner room for the week, good shows,
(REVIEWS IN ENTERTAINMENT, weather was warm,
sunny and breezy, took my normal $1,500.
bankroll down and brought $3,000. home.

    RIO's room re-decorating continues...
Power outage notices between 3AM to 6AM, one day a week, seem to still be the norm...mild noise during the day.

For those who remember the overhead, vine covered, grape trellis thingie in Masquerade Village...just in front of the bank/cage...
    ...it's gone.
Years ago, that area used to be The Pit and the vine trellis hid the survellance cameras. The Pit
area is long gone and all last week, crews were dismantleing the huge I-Beam framing. That area of the Village was roped off/closed from 6AM to 5PM...I could only play the 9.6 Double Bonus and a few other games there day side. I played most of my slots at the PALMS.

All's back to normal now...the area really opens up without the trellis work, but I miss the cozy atmosphere it created in that area.

Midweek, all the properties were scrambling...
...(to do something slot Tech. wise) to prevent some counterfeit Ten Dollar Bills going round from locking up the computers in the machines.
They'd close off groups of machines for an hour or so as they worked on them.
Fortunately, it didn't stop me from gettin' real lucky on Texas Tea, Cleopatra, and a $5.00 WOF
    machine Wed. around dinnertime!

Room service coffee in the mornings, Tilted Kilt Pub munchies "to go" late in the evening, my corner roon with two walls of floor to celing windows, and I was a happy camper!

THANK YOU FOR VISITING LAS VEGAS...brought to you by McCarran International Airport.
(while waiting in my curbside checkin line coming home)
A wonderful, beautiful, young woman...5.9 or so, long legs, in front of me...
Long auburn hair with Henna red highlights,
'very' loose fitting hip-hugger jeans and a
    purple thong on...
Every time the line would move forword (and there were MANY of them)...she would bend over to pick up her bags...slowly...again and again
    and again and...
'cracked' me up!...tan cheeks just glowin'
    in the sun!

So if most of your play was at the Palms, are you expecting some offers from them? Gonna change your name to GregPALMS? (Not sure that has a good ring to it...)

    Doc,

We should all be thankful that his name is Greg, not Harry.

    Sounds like a great trip.
Were the other slots .05 or .25?

Sounds like the free show was just as good as the ones you paid for Greg [IMG] .

What made you play more at the Palms vs Rio?

    'dirty 'ol man'thanks you back...

I'll take your advice Dr., and forget about
the name surgery. That triangle is where I do most of my play...RIO,Gold Coast,PALMS. I go
for the shows first, then the gamling.
My win was on the Texas Tea (15 LINE) and Cleopatra (20 LINE).
Both nickel, playing MAX LINE/MAX COIN IN...
After most of the win on those two machines, I felt much more stupid and put 200 into the $5.00
    WOF...hit 300 and walked away.

and Yeah Jim...I certainly CAN teach you
'how to'...just be in 'that mood', sit at the right machine at the right time and WALA!
Construction in the RIO's Masquerade Village moved me over to the PALMS during the day.
