It has been alooong time since staying there. Do they still have coffee pots in rooms? Type? Is it certain rooms or towers? It will be a comp room.
I assume there will be NO resort fee. We take a pot with us but not sure what to expect. What about in room safes? Thanks

When I stayed there in September, there was no coffee maker in our room. There is a free coffee setup in the lobby until a certain time (9:00?).

No coffee pot in room. You are correct to assume no resort fee on comped room. Rooms do have safes located in the closet. GVR is one of my favorite places to stay!

Thanks. Back from my trip and you both were correct. Rooms were very nice. Casino is great looking. No resort fee. We did take our own coffee pot.
Safe in closet was acceptable. Ice maker on our floor was out of order. It had been a long time since our last visit. The other times we stayed, we couldn't get our room preference. This trip was NO exception.
Must say the place made us feel like a mice. From check in to room was a maze. Gambling was not good. Good Big Game party. All in all a nice trip.

Was going to post about the no coffee in the room this past September..But yes it did feel like a maze..I wonder how people check-in when it's raining and your room is a walk past the pool? Always thought I was missing a shortcut somewhere..My mission in the AM was a long walk w/elavator/key locked door coming back from Starbucks..Kinda sucked
