Just returned from a nice profitable trip. Got to love those when you have more 100's in your pocket going home than when left home. To me a good BJ game is a game where you can double ANY 2 cards and double after splits and of course BJ pays 3/2. I was so happy see a change from when I was there in August. At the D they have put back the above game several places. Some shoe and some DD. Even found a $5 shoe game in morning. The LVC had even put back theirs at the $10 level during the day and $25 at night. Stay away from party pit and 6/5 BJ. The gate has about half their games good the others had CSM's. 4 Queens has lowest amount good but I think they had 2 to choose from is all. Golden nugget had them scattered around. Even party pit in the front had good rules but the party pit to the west was 6/5. El cortez has all games with these rules but play many SD games. Beware that if you have 4 or more players you will only get 2 hands per shuffle. Try to find a 1 or 2 person game with this SD. They did have one DD which I prefer over SD. It seems to give me a better chance of a 5-6 hand winning run. Of course all Boyd properties (Fremont, California, and Main Street) had plenty to choose from. The plaza is not worth a stop as it has mostly CSM's. Like I said I was so happy to see many games coming back for us BJ players. Guess the casino's (except the plaza) have learned if you give good games we will play. Last caution is beware of VP at the long bar at the D. Pay tables are very poor. Also found same bad pay tables at the Gate's bar top VP. El Cortez has best bar top and very fast bartenders to keep you hydrated. Just my observations. Questions?
