I just came back from a visit to Belgrade, Serbia. They have several casino-like places throughout the city, but actually only one real casino: Grand Casino Beograd. I went there everyday, while I was in the city and boy, were the minimums and rules great!

    Note that 1 USD = 107 RSD.

    - Roulette: Single-zero all around. Live tables and machines all are single-zero. Live table minimums are 100 RSD, machine minimums are 10 RSD or 25 RSD.
    - Blackjack: S17, Surrender, DAS etc, great rules. They use CSMs though, if that's something you don't like. Minimums are starting from 200 RSD, less than 2 USD!
    - Slot machines: You can select from 0.5 RSD to 5 RSD denoms. So, if you play a Zeus machine, covering all 30 lines at 0.5 RSD, you'll be playing 15 RSD/spin.
    - Video poker: Usually payouts sucked, but they do have it.
    - Craps: I haven't seen any.

When I compare what I experienced to Vegas, I feel like Vegas is a huge ripoff. For example for being asked 5 times more money for 5 times worse rules. I know we all go for the vibe and atmosphere, but still.

The biggest drawbacks to gambling in eastern Europe....

    1. Cigarette Smoke like you've never experienced. I'm talking Longhorn X Western X Gold Spike.

    2. Shoulder players constantly betting on your betting circle. On top of/ over your shoulder/ knocking your chips over/ cig ashes falling on your shoulder/ shoulder players taking your payout/ shoulder players playing stupid/ dealer yelling at them as they walk away/ they return with the payout, continuing to play confused/stupid..... Yes, seriously.

    There's nothing like Vegas.

Be careful. I have heard that some eastern european casinos cheat. This was mainly for Prague.
