Is Grazie like MLife in that you receive points for all expenditures on the property including hotel room, etc? Just curious. Staying there for 3 nights on business and signed up for Grazie. I know this will likely get me nothing, but was curious.

Put a hundy though the $1 slots. Maybe you can get a comp room next visit, maybe not.

This doesn't answer the OP's question at all...?

    -----

    From the Grazie website:

    STATUS POINTS
Earned on qualifying slot and video poker play and through all charges made to your suite. These points are good toward Gold or Platinum status levels. Status Points earned from slot play or from suite charges are combined to reach the next level of Grazie.

The reply suggesting slot play was good general advice. A little slot play can sometimes get the casual player much more than s/he would receive through a rewards program, although the free room would most likely be just a one-time offer. That is how we got started with this property.

However, about the time it gutted the games, Venetian/Palazzo also reconfigured its business model to cater more to the convention crowd and less to the repeat gambler. That way of thinking would drive Grazie to consider everything customers spent, not just how much they played. So playing a little may not get you any nibbles from that company.

This is directly from the Club Grazie site:

"Earn Status Points toward your GrazieTM status on restaurant meals, show tickets, spa services, nightclub drinks, shop purchases, suite rates, and in-suite charges (such as in-suite dining, movies, and Internet) when you charge any purchases made from participating partners at The Venetian and The Palazzo back to your guest suite."

So yes it looks like you earn comps from things other than gaming.

Yes and no. You'll earn status points for room charges but not actual comps like Mlife's EC. Room charges will help you on your way to gold or platinum which gets you access to their lounge.
