Just for two nights comped. Surprised since my home casino is set for fremont I did not think downtown Boyd sent multiple offers out like this.
Did you gamble at MSS lately? I gambled at Sam's town (even though my home casino is MSS) last year and I still get some free night offers from them (and only them for the free nights). I just got my boyd offers last week - 5 day - 4 night Hawaiian package for only $70 (per person, double occ). Unfortunately it isn't good for single occupancy but even then $140 for 4 nights isn't too bad when you include the coupon booklet for 3 free meals per day.
All I get is MSS (base) offers monthly, except I got a 3 night at off strip for attaining sapphire. Gambled at all 3 downtown and Sams. Using 3GC then 3 MSS end of march into April. May comps are better 3 at Cal or MSS (slot tourney) and 4 MSS plus $75 FP and food book. But not going back until July.
Yeah I have gambled there every trip since Jan 15 [Jan 15, Aug 15, Oct 15 and Jan 16] this is the first mailer I have generated from there. I also have 3 nights and $20 food a at fremont during same time frame.
I wonder if they rated you higher for your play the past trips, that could be why you got offers for comped nights, maybe they want you back based on your recent play. I had that with Sam's town, normally I don't play very much there but last year's trip I visited a few times and gambled a little more so I assumed they were sending me offers because I put in more play there.
Could be but honestly I don't think my play was outsized compared to normal. Either way if I was going to vegas I would take advantage of it.
how many points do you have on your Boyds site. If at or close to 25,000 it could be reason for comps. Could be close or at sapphire which is 25,000 and comps get better
I am staying @ MSS in early May. Along with certain tourney offers, I had 4 free nights, $75 Free Play, and a meal book. (I am Emerald by the way) CONGRATS ON YOUR 1st OFFER!
14,083 6500 this past trip in Jan Fremont/MSS 5000 in Oct Fremont/CAL/MSS and like 10k from July Fremont/MSS Usually at MSS I post up at Boars Head exclusively. Some slots but not much at MSS honestly. Like I said I am surprised I got offers from two downtown boyd properties. MEH I have stayed at Fremont, and Cal (was walked there due to a mess up in my reservation). I would like to give MSS a try. Good to know I may have this in the hopper.
