good tamales on the strip?

    i like tamales especialy in the morning or late at night. my buddy i'm going to vegas with is mexican but he doesnt know how to cook tamales and gets mad when i ask him if he can make me some. is there any mexican restaurant on the strip to get tamales? not fancy mexican,someplace i can pick up quickly to go?

    Really? Why would you ask him to make tamales for you?
    It may not have been intentional, but your post comes across as stereotyping.

    it was a joke lady :rolleyes2: hes my best buddy since grade school and we hang out almost every day even going to the casino later today. sorry if you took offense. :peace:

    I love a good tamale as much as the next guy, but I'm afraid finding them cheap on the Strip is going to be a challenge. There are some taco stands towards downtown, but I can't think of anything near the Strip. Pink Taco at the Hard Rock might have something, but it's not especially cheap there.

    Dona Maria's on LV Blvd just north of Charleston has excellent tamales.

    To hell with the tamales. Take him over to Tacos el Gordo for some yummy street tacos. Only $2 a pop in your choice of meats. They are known for their spicy pork (Adobada).
    Just North of Encore on the strip. Get there early because the lines are crazy long in the evenings. Ate there twice last week it was so good. :licklips:

    +1 for Tacos el Gordo and the adobada if you get up that far. Is it just me, or is that place better after midnight?
