Last couple of trips we've watched at the Pub at MC on the strip. Thinking about going downtown this time, but I've never been down there thinking about where to watch Dallas and Houston, but thinking about doing it while we're there.

Especially would like someplace where we can have brunch, drinks and football all in one place.

    Any ideas?

No. Drinks and game yes. Adding brunch in eliminates every place I can think of downtown. Triple 7 brewpub has tv's and great football food with wings, nachos etc, but it's not ideal for the trifecta you requested. There are plenty of good VP bars with tv's and drinks, so you could always grab brunch at Carson St and then relocate for the game.

One of the downsides of Fremont is that they don't have great sportsbooks or gameday setups like the Strip.

No food. But the longbar at the D is good for sports/drinks.

Well, can't have everything. Was hoping for all three together as we plan to go hard Saturday night and I knew we'd be doing good to get there in time to get a good seat for the game. May have to go to bed a little earlier so we can grab breakfast first.

We watched Nebraska last year on Sat morning at Nacho Daddy. I believe they do have breakfast items on the menu.

If your game is not on national TV, Fox, CBS, NBC or ESPN, then you are SOL at MSS & 777. They only get basic cable and you are subject to the whims of the local stations and which game they decide they will carry that would have the most interest. You can usually check each station's web site a day or two before the games and see what they are going to carry.

One caveat, since there is no local NFL team, if they deem the game "boring", or a blowout, they will switch to other games and if you're camped to see your home team, at 777, you could get pissed.

I would try the Plaza. There is a bar right by there and some food options. I haven't watched any games there but I will be next month when I am in Vegas.

Agree, it's decent size. While the nugget is nice, it's tiny. Unless you get there very early, forget it
