I am not a big Sportsbook guy, only putting down the occasional $. I will be in LV when Colts play Texans on the 8th of October. I thought buddy and I would hang out one night at a book for a change. The only time, I really hung out at a sports book was at Caesars during the NHL playoffs a few years ago before the remodel. The atmosphere was awesome never expecting that many hockey fans at a Casino in Las Vegas in May!

Open to a sports book or a decent sports bar with VP - is it tough to get a seat at bartop VP near a sports book on Thursday NFL night?

I would suggest Aria sportsbook. Very comfy seating and big screens

Aria is very nice but I can never get a seat there. It's always very crowded. Thursday night football is not a huge draw in Vegas. I've played VP and watched NFL at Planet Hollywood, Paris and Monte Carlo. Both have VP bars next to the sportsbooks. The TVs at Paris are not good. Maybe that's why it's easier to get a seat.

Bellagio book is good, VP bar right there, we actually has 4 people for New England opener, we would get there a bit early and get our seats, we then would send a guy to VP bars to play VP and when 1 guy needed a drink, we would trade places in a rotation :drunk:

The sportsbook at Harrahs has a about 12 screens directly in front of their VP bar. Horrible VP tables, but great price for the drinks (free). Plus if you plunk down a wager or 2 then you get a drink ticket (or 2). Did it October of 2013.
