We'll be in Vegas in July and we're heading out of town on Saturday afternoon to spend the night in Death Valley. We want to have a good late lunch, maybe 3:00 or 4:00, maybe a reasonably-priced steak dinner unless someone has an irresistable other idea.

We're spending Friday night at the Plaza downtown and don't really know what we're doing on Saturday during the day, except for a pancake breakfast at Dupars. Probably wanting to avoid driving on the Strip that day, so a place downtown or out of town would be best.

Any suggestions for heading west on a full stomach?

If you're doing Death Valley I might suggest the Pahrump Nugget in Pahrump.

In Las Vegas, Honey Salt. In Pahrump, try the winery.

On a Saturday afternoon, I believe that you would be pleased with Triple George.

Look at the menu on Yelp.

It is. Nice restaurant adjacent to the Downtown Grand Hotel/Casino.

I have eaten there a number of times & have been pleased.
