Have the best pancakes in the history of man on the first morning at Du Par's (inside the Golden Gate), then the next morning eat two day's worth of food at breakfast at the Hash House A Go Go (inside the Plaza).

If you are still in Vegas on Day 4, repeat the cycle.

I gotta go with Du Pars too. The pancakes are great!

But I'm also kinda fond of Dunkin Donuts at the Fremont and Krispy Kream at the D (aka Fitz).

If ya are up early enough, most coffee shops have good graveyard specials.

My favorite biscuits & gravy are at El Cortez (and I've also tried them at Carson St cafe at GN and Binions coffeeshop - eh).

If buffets are an option, I would recommend Main St Station and Fremont. MSS has more choices, they both make omelets/eggs to order and Fremont also does pancakes to order.
If you want server/sitdown breakfast, the Market St Cafe at the Cal is good, but usually long lines for seating. They do have counter seating you can walk up to if there are any open and skip the line.
The Paradise Cafe inside Fremont is another option. A couple of good breakfast specials, reasonably priced.

DuPars and Hash House are also good, I just find them a bit pricey.

Which places have delicious coffee downtown (flavored creams a +)?

Any places with bad coffee to avoid?

Terrific! Thanks for the suggestions - I find if I have a large breakast, lunch can be very minimal leaving room for some awesome dinner.

For a standard breakfast, I like Golden Grill at the Gold Spike. $5.29 all American breakfast is 2 eggs, sausage or bacon, great toast and hashbrowns for 5.29. 24/7 special is the ham and eggs, same as The All American Breakfast but with a huge hamsteak for 4.99.

Fro buffet I agree Main Street Station or Fremont with eggs or omlettes cooked to order.

The Carsen St. Cafe in the Golden Nugget is a good choice for breakfast. Prices might be a little higher than aforementioned places but service and ambience is great.

Among many things, their hotcakes is outstanding.

We go there often when we want a nice, quiet, comfortable atmosphere along with good, fresh, breakfast fare.

    Dupar's is excellent.

I love the Golden Grille at the Gold Spike. Food is good, prices are good, and never a wait.
