We went to Golden Steer tonite for steak. Very Very pleased... Had a 16 oz. New York cooked to perfection. Then we had Cherries Jubilee prepared at our table that was to good to describe. What a anniversary dinner......

I agree! I have been there only once but it was very memorable, very old-school and "Vintage Vegas" in ambiance.

In my not so humble opinion, a place like this sure beats any of the steakhouse chains or the absentee celebrity chef places in the hotels!

Buddy and I kinda stumbled in one night in January 1986 in the midst of a 3day Vegas World stay that included comped drinks the whole time...Fantastic meal and only real sustinance of the firsttime Vegas visit..Really should go back but we are never in that area anymore.

We used the GREEN20 code to get the extra 20 % off Groupon. Well worth it I might add.

Are there any restrictions food and drink wise? from what i can see there is none - $35 for $60 worth of steak, seafood, and drinks. Limit 1 per table. Must purchase a food item.

Are their steaks dry aged? I much prefer the taste of a dry aged steak, at least 21 days aged.

So glad to hear you had a great experience! I haven't eaten there in several years, but it remains one of my favorites. No splashy, ultra-hip strip location to be sure, but it's a bit of a trip back in a time-machine and the food is outstanding!

Any idea if they allow minors in the restaurant? (16 year old)
