I'll be staying at the Golden Nugget for the first time this May... And thought I'd inquire here to see if anyone has recent experience with their suite offerings.

Affordability-wise, it looks like my choices are a Parlor Suite or a Rush Tower Jr. Suite (the Spa Suite would be ideal, but hard to justify the cost of... I may see if they can do an upgrade to it on check-in, but it's not something I'd want to make an actual reservation for).

Does anyone know which of these might be more desirable? Also bear in mind that I'll try to get a connecting standard-room (not sure if either of those features doors connecting to another room or not). Any input would be greatly appreciated. :)

1 BR suite can connect. They have wet bar large sitting/lounge area, steam shower jacuzzi tub.

    Good deal.
