    I was on my cell phone talking and texting in there last month in front of the counter.

    No it's illegal to actively block sell phone access with a jammer. That's not to say they couldn't design their building to be less conducive to cell phones (materials/etc).

    That said the whole blocking of cell phones doesn't seem like a great idea this day and age. Everyone is so dependent that you'll have a lot of customers who will go gamble/watch elsewhere if they don't get a good cell signal to have email/etc

    My experience has been that wireless service is just very poor inside the GN overall.

    receptions in most casino's is bad. They are not blocking it. Just too much interference.
