YIKES !!! Hopefully, the GN will get that "accounting" mess straightened out before they start losing some of their faithful customers. There is no excuse for such sloppy customer service. And I wonder how many people don't ever check the line items on the CC statement, and have already paid more than once without knowing it ?

I was charged twice for our upcoming stay in October, the amount was reversed, but because it is a Canadian card, I've been charged by the credit card company for the exchange in both the charge and the refund. I'm not sure if it is worth complaining to the GN about it.

I may take my statement with them and if there are any other issues I will pull it out and discuss them covering the exchange rates.

    Wow, thanks Sam!

Stayed there last month and just paid for my October trip there. I'll have to check my cc statements for this possibility.

Always check your credit card statements wherever you go. I don't think Golden Nugget did anything intentional.
