For my next trip, I have a choice between a GG suite or larger size regular room. I am not picky at all about the extras in the rooms. I just walk in late and climb into bed, wake up, shower and than back to the tables.
But I do not want to be right on Fremont. I'm a light sleeper. Which room is in the back tower?
Anything else I should consider when picking my room?
    Thanks!

The suite is the correct choice. Better room and off Fremont st

+1 I suggest the suite as well... they're all in "the back" (which is actually "the front"...the "back" faces Fremont).

Seems like forever from now, but the flights are booked, so it counts!

...go with the suite...I stayed in #31...it is the closest suite to the elevator but not so close that you hear people coming and going. The window faces out back, not onto Fremont.

I can confirm the suite is the right move. I wouldn't stay in anything else again.

Can't really say if I was in the "back", as such. but last time I stayed I was facing an alley, and the garbage trucks backed in at 6 a.m., reverse alarms at max.

The suite is the way to go. I had 40 on my last trip, it overlooked the valet entrance. It was quite quiet and large enough.

You want to avoid rooms toward the back facing the alley on the east side of the building. That's garbage truck territory.
