Okay this is a fairly basic easy question that I probably should know the answer to given how much time I spend on this website. I received a paper mailer for some freeplay from Golden Gate. It was on the same mailer as some food credit and comp nights. The mailer listed each item separately as opposed to my mlife offers that seem to be a package deal. Do I have to be a hotel guest guest to redeem the freeplay and/or food credit or can I make get them on my normal downtown night?

I think the answer is no to both questions. Free play is automatically loaded on your card in the qualifying period. You must obtain a voucher at the rewards desk located in the back of the casino for the meal comp.

I get similar comps at The D (their sister property) and you do not have to be a hotel guest. But do make sure you have the mailer for the food comp. last time I didn't have anything and was denied though previously the food comp was still given to me. And the free play should be on your card, no need to go to players club first.

    This is correct.

Thanks everyone, I'll try to remember the mailer but given my propensity to day drink I wouldn't bet on it. I looked at the mailer again and the freeplay is actually table play so I'll have to go to the desk anyway.

I just received my first offer from the D for April and May good for a room offer, free slot play, F&B credit and Match play. I am going to Vegas in a couple of weeks in March, but I am staying at DTG. Would the D be willing to let me use the food and beverage credit in advance while I am in town?
