I will be staying in a comped room at the Golden Gate but I don't like the video poker there. I really enjoy the video poker at their sister property the 4 Queens. If I play at the 4 Queens this trip instead of playing at the Golden Gate will it register as play towards my room comp? I don't want to be calculated by Golden Gate to be a scoffold; I like their beds and want to be invited back.

There is no connection between those two properties. They are not sister properties. Playing at one will not result in comps from the other.

I could be very wrong, but I thought GG was the sister property to the D. 4Q and Binions I think are related.

Well, that answers that. :) Guess I will cease being a Golden Gate player as I don't like the lack of 9/6 JoB at the D just as much as I don't like the lack of 9/6 JoB at the GG. I guess I'll become a 4Q/Bin player.
Thanks to all that answered my post.

The IMPORTANT thing here is that it looks like you're headed to town in pretty short order... wherever you play, I hope you have a great time!!!

4 queens and binions are sister properties, however, play at one does not count at the other. Golden Gate and the D are similar. Golden gate's card is Club 1906 and The D's card is Club D. You had best check with players club at Golden Gate to see about where you can play.
