Not sure this is the right place to post this one but here goes...I was approached by a Casino Host at Excalibur this last Sept. My first response was 'oh crap what did I do wrong?!?'...but I digress. My Mlife was reset when everyone elses were reset. I am planning on returning to Vegas next month. Would you suggest staying at the Casino I was first approached at or would ANY Mlife casino be OK? Also I read a few postings about 'linked accounts'. Do you need to just live together to get this or must you be married? I have received a number of offers from different Mlife casinos. Monte Carlo the best...Excalibur a close second. Suggestions or comments?

Many of the offers are property specific, so it is likely for you to get better offers at properties you've played at. But once you're staying at a property, any activity at mLife properties hits your account the same way. My recommendation would be to find a property that suits you in terms of feel, comfort, price level, amenities, etc. and make it your home. You can play wherever you want, but focusing a decent amount of your play where you intend to stay is wise.

I don't believe you even need to live together. You just walk up to the mLife counter and say, we're together, link our accounts. I could be wrong here - someone can correct me - but I've done similar before and never had to show them any documentation.

This again speaks to where you feel the most comfortable. I personally think the Excalibur is kind of a dump, so I avoid it. The Monte Carlo has some nice aspects to it; the location is decent, I like the food court. But this is really only a question you can answer for yourself.

Thanks much for the response! I don't want to screw protocol when a host actually came up to me at one casino and wishing to stay at another. Much appreciated!

If Monte Carlo is giving you a better offer then that is a no brainer. Monte is a much nicer property overall and obviously if they are giving you more (nights, fp f&b) then go with that. I'm sure a host isn't gonna blame you for that.. hell they probably won't even know. Although i have heard that the updated widescreen rooms at Excalibur might be nicer than some of the of the monte carlo rooms (taking this from a friends experience not my own).

I stayed at Excalibur for the first 5 trips i went to vegas and then i switched to MGM. I had a host at excal and access to the VIP lounge (which i never used) and even though i play bigger now I do not have a host at mgm (i guess my play doesn't qualify for a host at mgm). Anyways, I prefer MGM over Excal simply b/c their rooms are nicer, food choices are much better, and drink service is better.... but excal still gives be better overall offers.
