Quietly of course. Which really suggests that no one is watching actually.

No more $5.99 breakfast buffet that I spoke of so highly not to long ago. Ironically breakfast and lunch is now the same price, but after a bad lunch experience last trip, I would only go back for their breakfast (and since they are now the same price, I will pass probably).

Just an FYI on price change.

I guess it was bound to happen. It still looks like a pretty good deal, though.

I haven't eaten there in a while. Do they still not have any spoons on the tables for breakfast? That was one of the "unique experiences" at the Orleans breakfast.

Of course years ago it was much better when it was cheaper. It used to be my favorite breakfast buffet. It started going downhill when the brought in the artificial bacon and changed to powered scrambled eggs. I know that many people probably didn't notice.

Is $7.99 the discounted price now with slot club card? Or regular price?

I live nearby and used to eat there all the time. Then they started to mess with the prices, raising on certain days. Then the service got bad - then worse. Come back from the buffet and find someone else seated at my table. Come back from buffet and find dirty dishes and food scraps on my table. Constantly need to complain about low life employees closing the ice cream machines early so they can go home. Ask for fresh pizza, cook looks at the old dried up stuff lying there, looks at me (like you need to eat what's there) and walks away. screw the Gold Coast. I'll never set foot in there again. There are PLENTY of better places to eat :) .

The Palms is across the street. A block up from the Palms is a plaza with Einstein Bagels. A few blocks further there is a 24/7 restaurant called Blueberry Hill. One block more is a 24/7 McDonald's. Go the other way (down Flamingo toward the strip) is the Rio (EXCELLENT buffet). Cross the strip about a mile down on the left is Lawry's Steakhouse; on the right is the Silver Sevens Casino, which has a Very Good $9.99 buffet and the Sterling Spoon Cafe which is an excellent 24/7 cafe. By the way, the Silver Sevens breakfast is still $5.99.
