I go to Vegas 4 times per year. Generally, I split my play between Cosmo and CET, and occasionally a couple other places if it strikes my fancy. I realize this isn't great for my tier levels, but I like the hotel at The Cosmopolitan but can eventually tire of the smaller casino, so go to CET for their casino's, but don't like their rooms.

Anyway, I've now already hit Gold at Cosmo and Platinum at CET. I have 2 more trips left to Vegas this year, and with my bankroll, I can see I could likely make Diamond at CET if I just directed my play there a bit more with bonuses, without actually changing my total coin in per trip (So not chasing comps!!)

My question is this.......it would likely take my second trip in December to reach Diamond doing this. Does that mean I only get to enjoy that level for like 3 months (March 2015) which, in my world, would be 1 trip...... or do they have a minimum 1 year from when you earned the tier? I'd be pulling some play from Cosmo to do this, which could temporarily affect my comps there.....which I don't want to do unless there's good reward for it.

    Any comments appreciated!
    Thanks!

If you earn Diamond before 12/31/14, you will retain that status until 3/31/16 (so you'll have it for a year and three months.)

If you make diamond in Dec, you should have it until 3/16. However, I made mine in April, but is showing valid to 3/15.

When I log onto my TR account, it shows me how many TC's I have, and how many I need for Diamond. It shows it based on earning for this year, with status valid through March 2015 only. Because I don't go often, it will take me all year to earn them, but only 3 months to enjoy them? At Cosmo, once I hit a new tier level, it's good for a year......that makes sense to me! Hardly seems worth my while to worry about it for one trip if it may impact my other hotel offers!

Sindustry- you've got it right! Earn it early!

If you made it this year, it won't expire till March 31st, 2016. It'll update after the new year. Mine shows the same too, and it's like this the last couple years.

I've been diamond with CET for the last 5 years. I think the TR account reflects what card/tier status membership you earned the year before and when it expires. If you earn diamond by December 31st of this year, it will not expire till March 31st of 2016. Tier credits reset January 1st every year. If you decide to stay Platinum, it's the same and won't expire till March 31st of 2016.

You will always be Diamond for at least 15 months, or as much as 27 months. It is good for the rest of the current calendar year, plus 3 months. Your card may only show the next years date.

Again, once you earn Diamond, or any level, it is good for the rest of the current year and all of the following - and then they throw in the extra 3 months.

OKAY! Now I get it....so glad I asked and you were all able to clarify for me!!! Thanks a bunch.....I was convinced it was 2015 because of what the screen read! So glad to hear 2016......that will make the effort worthwhile then!!!

Yea, when I first diamond made diamond I had the same exact questions and was confused too. When I first made it, I made it late in the year, I like like in October, but TR account said it was going to expire in March, which was a few months later. Like nostresshere said, if you made it the beginning of this year in January, you would be good till March 31st of 2016, which is 27 months.
