    Hi all,

Staying 5 nights in September and I need some advice.

I booked a GO room a few weeks ago. However I noticed that I can book an IP King Deluxe Suite for about $75 less for the stay

I have never stayed in either property. I'm not a pool person and I'll probably just head to Caesar's to use their gym/spa facility. The Casino and restaurants aren't a factor since I enjoy walking to other properties anyways.

So purely based on room value which would you choose?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Stick with you go room, just search imperial palace, IP, or imperfect disaster and you will see why.

There are people that really like the upper level rooms at IP (heck there are a ton of people that like the standard rooms - my aunt thought theirs was fine & she's a Hyatt girl - she didn't expect Hyatt & she was just fine).

Normally for the price difference I always take the cheaper, however, for a $15 a night difference, I would probably pick Flamingo right now just to avoid the construction in front of IP. Ask for a south facing room to try to avoid any construction noise - I have read loud & heard nothing - but if you face south you would be fine.

If wandering thru the mess out front (it is only a few minute issue) isn't a deterent to you, then do youtube searches for videos on the King Suite - I'm pretty sure I watched one recently & it looked like a really decent room.

Imperfect disaster is far from what IP really is, but the construction right now does make it difficult, and the GO rooms are great.

We have stayed in both. The IP has its benefits but the two rooms you mention really are very different. GO rooms are very bright and fresh; nothing at the IP has ever been described as bright or fresh. If you go into IP with very limited expectations you will be fine.

If I was even considering a GO room at the Flamingo, the IP would not even enter into the discussion. Two entirely different levels.

Flamingo GO Room, especially considering all of the construction at the Imperial Palace.
