Has anyone used the myvegas comp for 1 free glass of absinthe at Sage?

Seems like it's pretty straight forward.. no strings attached, hidden fees or requirement to buy dinner/minimum purchase.
After reading the fine print, it appears I can sit at the bar, drink my glass of absinthe and split! Am I missing some hidden stipulation?

For 10K LP's a $25+ glass of Absinthe seems like a pretty good value!

What has your experience been at Sage? Did you sit at the bar for a quick drink or did you eat dinner at a table? Did you like the absinthe?

I looked and could not find this offer. I wonder if it's location dependent? What city do you live in? I will change mine with fake gps and see if that works.

My group did it in June not through a deal and its was a presentation of the drink there was fire and sugar and different choices for the Absinthe Base for your drink at around $30 each.

I have tried Absinthe and they let me have the straining spoon/utensil.

After that, my thought is why should I ever try Absinthe again.

That's my take on it, too. It's a very cool presentation but I'm not a fan of licorice and it tastes like licorice to me. You should do it once in your life, though. And if it was free, I'd definitely try it if I never tried it before.

I'm thinking the flaming presentation with the sugar cube, and sipping fumes through the straw is not the free drink questioned above. I've done the big presentation one before too, and it is very cool to experience, specially sipping the fumes from the upside-down glass through a straw...they wheel a whole cart up to your table for that 'show'. Depending on the Absinthe brand used, I believe it's $30-$50 a glass.

The bartender let me pick any absinthe drink. I forget the version I had. He said it was valued at $35
