    Hey guys, love this site.

If anyone has time and experience, I'd love some input here. We're from Illinois and spend a lot of time at their Boyd Casino there, so we're planning to spend an entire day at Orleans/Sun Coast and on Freemont at The Freemont, Cal, and Main Street Station.

I've got a pretty good idea of the walking between the downtown properties, and there looks to be a free shuttle between Orleans/Coast, so all that's left is getting from Harrahs to Orleans and Freemont Street. Is there any better way than taking a cab?

    Thanks!

you have a number of options. It depends on how much of a rush you are in.

There is a shuttle that goes from harrahs to sams town to downtown. here is their schedule:

To go from the strip to the orleans/coast, there is a regular shuttle that goes from bills to the orleans and gold coast.

Finally, there is a shuttle that goes from harrahs to Rio (also stops at Bally's). The Rio is across the street from the gold coast so not a far hike to get to that shuttle.

There really isn't a direct shuttle to go from the strip to downtown, you may want to consider taking the deuce (bus) from the strip to downtown (and back) if you don't want to spend the extra time going to sam's town. The bus system to downtown is pretty good, the buses may be busy with people trying to travel the strip but empties out (many tourists use the bus to get around the strip but not as many go all the way downtown).

Cab is always an option, especially for groups of 3 or more instead of taking the bus.

the shuttles I mentioned are free although some may give priority for hotel guests.
