    My Trip Report

Well I wasn't gonna start up a TR thread on this trip because I don't expect too much out of the usual to happen but now that I am only a few days away from arrival after a two month Vegas hiatus I will get er going.

Having just read some of Vegasbj's high rolling TR mine may be found lacking but I will give it a go.

This trip has a mixed outing of boys and girls so the gambling degeneracy I am used to may have to be reigned in just a little to appease the women.

I'm at Bally's and Big Sack and friend are at PH for one night and Mirage for the other two.

There may also be a special guest who may or may not reveal themselves.

My Type B personality has me loathing too much structure but planned activities include atleast one visit to Qua. After 10-15 trips without seeing it, we are hitting Jersey Boys on Friday or Saturday. The buffet at Cosmo is a must and I would like to try to get to the Cortez Room at the Gold Coast. I know, I know, I can already hear some of you saying "The Cortez Room?" But the last time we were there (one of my trips last year) it was pretty darn good and the prices were insane!

I also have to hit the MGM poker room for a short poker stint as the comps vanish if you haven't played for six months. Not sure when I was there last but I have about $75-80 on there that I don't wanna lose. So.....the plan is to hit the ground running upon arrival with some Ballys bar tops and progressives, followed up with a night at the MGM.

We are departing after work Wednesday to Whitefish where we will have a nice relaxing evening before we wake up in the middle of the Rockies refreshed and ready to drive the short 10 miles to the Kalispell airport for our 5 pm departure.

    Any questions?

i will do updates daily and let you know how many times I hit the quad aces, royals and most importantly....that damn Fire Bet!

Don't let the gambling degeneracy slide too much: gotta keep the Canadian image going:thumbsup:

Hope you enjoy your quick stay in Montana on the way to LV. Lived in MT my entire life before I moved to CA after school.

I can't recall if you drink beer or stick to the good stuff, but there is a local Whitefish mircro called Black Star that just got re-introduced. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Star_Beer They were sponsoring one of the holes at a Playboy golf event this fall in CA and seemed like good people. They gave me a free case as I was from MT and probally the only person on the course who even knew where Montana is.

    Can't wait for the report!

Okay depending on your point of view the first win of the trip is in. Checked last night at TR and for whatever reason Planet Hollywood popped up free for Thursday/Fri/Sat. So, while I rather like the North Tower at Bally's and the old school thing they have going on, I could not pass up PH for the weekend. IP came up as $75 over three nights, Harrahs at $60, Flamingo at $105 but PH free?!

Place call and all booked! I call that a small win. Now I can literally walk across the street to Cosmo.

My only concerns with PH are the terrible VP, the fact that even sober, I still get turned around in that casino and lose my bearings, and the Diamond Lounge there blows!!!!!!!

Oh well. Now the key is to atleast get an upgrade to a Resort room or Mountain view.

The snow is piling high in the Calgary/Southern Alberta area and I gotta get outta this place for a few days!!!!!!!!!!!

I kind of liked the Diamond lounge at P HO with the big ass TV.

    Good luck and have fun.

    Seconded!

I understand the no bar aspect, but that big ass TV trumps it. I have always had good service back there too. Same food as other Diamond lounges. However, if there is nothing you want to see on that TV, then a Diamond lounge bar would be better.

I know you are DDB player Gaggles, but PHO does have 99.17% BP (8/5/4) $1 3-play in the high limit.

    How bad is the DDB?

    Have fun.

Hey Hudd! I don't think I'm going to make the GG meet. We have been outvoted by the girls and it looks like MGM Thursday night and Friday may be Jersey Boys.

HouLA I have found the DDBP at PH to be brutal at ,25 and .50 level. I even played $1 and some $5 while chasing in their high limit room in September. Dealt trip aces three times but couldn't spank that 4th ace. At the $5 level I could have hit that without the kicker and been happy!

I will check vpfree2 again but the DD aint great. I am staying at quarters this trip as I got killed just before Christmas.

I'm certain that won't be me because I won't play high denominations or even very much low denominations at PH. Never hit a thing there in September.

Potential Headlines associated with this trip could include:

Man Claims He Said to Undercover Vice "Look at her go" not "Looking for Hookers and Blow"

"Naked Man in Ceasers Fountain Claims He Is the Twin Brother of Mysterious..Beejay Who is Still Being Sought for Questioning in Aria Elevator Vomit Incident"

Going to go pack my bag for departure tomorrow.

fell asleep on the couch waiting for an update to this trip report!?!?!?!?

    burnt the kids pizza.

had a dream I hit pair or higher 10 out of 11 hands at Cosmo (on 3 card poker) winning $1,000 while waiting for hosts to get out of a meeting, then had a host upgrade me to platinum and give me a tour of their ridic kick ass platinum lounge. then went to P.Ho and lost the $1,000 back on $10 DDB chasing the $40K royal which in this dream I was going to spend buying Shaqs 6-yr old pimped out Cadillac Escalade which had a Nintendo 64 in it.

    Weird Dream.:wink2:
