Fricking minus 15 F this morning

This is just too early for such a brutal winter. Minus 15 F this morning at 7 AM. How about our neighbors to the north?

 

A balmy -16 (+2 Fahrenheit) here just south of Ottawa

 

-15 here too. But it is going to get up to a whopping 8 degrees so it can snow out.

Man, have I got to get out of this state.

 

Yep, same here. Snow coming tonight. I love running the snowblower when it is windy and in the single digits.

 

40 in the DC area.

The other day we were at 70!!

I like this area for weather since our winters are usually light but I'd love NO snow like in the south.

Everywhere has it's drawbacks tho' (earthquakes - west, hurricanes - Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, north - lots of snow and cold, Midwest - tornados), so here it's decent.

The worst I've seen here is the 6 or so feet we got some years back and 2 seasons we got weird ice storms. We never go below 0.

Other than that, we can get 100 degree summers so it's a mix.

 

Do they make a winter version of those cheese hats?

Is it going to be that cold for the playoff game,or are you way north of Green Bay?

 

We are actually 90 miles south of Green Bay, but the forecast for the Saturday game is 31 degrees, with a chance of snow. 3:30 PM game so temps might drop after it gets dark, but we are a week away and these bozo forecasters can't even predict tomorrow's weather!

While here in Winnipeg, Manitoba (straight north of North Dacota) we're hitting -40 degrees this last week celcius which is the same temperature in farenheit. With the wind chill it's even colder. We plug in our car to a block heater that keeps the oil in our cars from freezong solid

Still minus 3 here in the Iowa banana belt. Ready for Vegas next week. Real ready.

 

Lake Tahoe checkin' in with 12 right now @ 8 a.m., but going to 50 and sunny today. Please send us some snow!!!!!!

 

Teed it up yesterday afternoon in shorts and short sleeves, of course.

Think I'll catch a long beach walk this afternoon before the Ducks' game!

SF Bay Area....

Forecast high of 67 today. We have been in the high 60s inland and 70s at the coast for the last week or so. About 10 degrees above normal. Really hard to take

 

Was thinking the same thing.

 

There are days... but then I go back and re-read my list of reasons we left.

 

Currently 0 (32F) here and some rain showers. Supposed to get to -15C (1F) later today.

 

As much as I love WI, I HATE WI winters! I don't know why Im still here....

Makes me want to throw the sticks in the ole suv and head down 95 to SC and FL.Have some good friends down there always telling us to come down and warm up .Was 48 here for about an hour ,soon as I went out to the garage with a "bucca" and a Macanudo it got cold again.

 

I can't talk really long, I've got a 1:30pm tee time today. 65 today in Sacramento, Ca. I think I might bring a sweater.

 

We barely broke 70 today but we did have a white Christmas, there was one white cloud in the sky.
