Danny that was last years schedule.

I was there for Dennis DeYoung and waited by the 3rd St Stage for him to play according to the two flyers I saw. I left after an hour and turns out he was on the 1st Street Stage. That area was a complete quagmire of Humanity and I hope they plan better for the foot traffic.

Perhaps Fremont wants to expand its appeal to a slightly younger demographic? I'd guess the primary crowd for these bands is now in their early 30s to 40s.

I'm downtown w/ no "headliner act" (Aug 22-28), but I hope they have a Pearl Jam or Smashing Pumpkins cover band (or just a decent band) for the weekend! I'll be in town the following weekend and may stop down to catch Puddle of Mudd.

The concert series over the past few years has been fun, with bands ranking from OK to very good. We've stayed anywhere from 10-20 minutes through 1+ hours listening to various bands.

While some bemoan any changes on Fremont Street, the concert series and other entertainment offered is appreciated by many visitors, especially since most casino lounge acts and other entertainment offering have been reduced/eliminated.
