I was down at freemont a few years ago and there was still a lot of places with slots that paid out in tokens instead of the printing the tickets. I haven't went down to freemont on my last couple of trips but were wondering if they still have the slots that paid out in tokens down there.

I know the second floor of The D has machines that still pay out on coins (i think the first floor is tickets) and I beleive Mermaids still does coins as well.

Last time I was at El Cortez they still had some, as did the Cal and MSS. The last two may have finally got rid of those though.

At MSS they still have the Treasure Chest VP machines that pay coins. 2 carousels near the cashier. At The Cal, they for sure have some right next to the Main Street bar, by the escalator.

But these all aren't true "coin" machines, right? They're just ticket machines that pay coins when you hit the "Cash Out" button. Bleah.

I know for a fact the VP machines on the 2nd floor of the D take coin-in, as someone in my party this past weekend played his winnings from the sigma derby through a VP machine.

I learned the hard way that their wheel of fortune machine pays out in coins. I put in a $20, hit the spin on my first spin for $100 and hit the cash out button....took for damn ever to cash out $119.25 in quarters.

Any of the new penny video reel machines all are handpays. Also a giant pain in the ass if you're bouncing from machine to machine.
