My wife convinced me to buy the $50 freeplay credit.

I know little (to nothing) about slots.

    What should I play?

How well did you do, when you played?

I will use the boards' advice.

If you enjoy slots, play those. Otherwise, I would say video poker. I used this reward at Monte Carlo a couple months back on a decent $1 game and hit a full house and I think 2 pair somewhere in there. I believe I cashed out either $45 or $55 but my memory is a bit hazy. I have another one for MGM that I'll use next week, and I will either use it on a slot with a bonus game feature or go with $1 video poker again. Either way, you have to post your results now. Good luck

If your wife plays slots and you don't then when you get there just get the freeplay put on the card and give it to her.

Otherwise if you are intent on using the freeplay for yourself:
    - when you get there go get the freeplay put on your card
    - they will explain how to activate and use the freeplay, can even give you a little card with instructions for you to follow
    - you don't need to use all the freeplay on one machine
    - just walk around and find a machine that interests you: there is pretty much a slot machine with a theme for just about any interest
    - put your card in the machine and a $5 bill, follow the instructions on the little card on how to activate some or all of your free play
    - bet all lines (if that option is offered) and then however much you want to bet per line.
    - press spin button and hope for a win

Since I am a sucker for good video poker games...I would take a stab at this game myself, Loose Deuces Wild. You're mostly gambling for 4 Deuces though ($625 payout).

There are only two of these in the whole casino. They have "Deuces Wild" written on the top of each machine in a semi-circle in a bank of ten. General location described in the link above.

Here is basic strategy for the game.

Or another good possible choice, just give your wife the freeplay for "brownie points".

I plan on getting the $50 freeplay as well (if it's available early next year...) and using it in a $5.00 slot. One nice hit could multiply it by 10 or more!!

I forgot to follow up on this.

I used the $50 on JOB machine. Nothing fancy. I put an extra $10 to get it going, so $60 normal.

I played at $2.50 a hand. By the time it was loaded, I was down to $25 ($15 from the original $50). Eventually, I lost it all.

Thanks for all advice...I'm hooked on DD JOB vp.
