HI all, I am planning my "big" vegas trip in May 2016. BUT I have to fly to AZ for the holidays and was considering popping into Vegas use a promo. (I cannot come to Vegas without airfare, and since I'm already flying down and have a promo, I was considering a pop in.)

Question.... I traditionally budget a certain amount per day for play. I was wondering if using freeplay as part of that budget would lower my numbers in a casino's eyes (for future promos or promos already received). If I normally spend x amount of money per trip playing, play that same amount of money per day this trip, but a 1/3 of that money is freeplay, are coin in, coin out stats based only on actual play, or is freeplay usage also calculated in coin in, coin out calculations? It might be fun to add a 3 day trip, but not at the cost of playing less (with actual coin) and losing access to spring offers I already have available.

    Thanks!

First of all you're not going to lose access to offers you already have available.

As far as FP your initial bet with the FP isn't counted in coin in. But as you continue to cycle through your winnings, that is all counted.

Depending on the machine you play and your luck you might cycle through the FP money several times of which only the first time isn't counted.

So if it's 1/3 of your bankroll you're talking about reducing your total coin in by about 3-5%.

Thanks Shifter! I was mainly worried about losing current offers. I thought cycling through might still help coin in stay high (if I pick ok machines), but your stat estimates bring an effort comfort level. You always have great feedback, so this makes me feel much better!

FYI I DO have a universal Mlife comp at any mlife. IF I can make this work, is it better to go to one of my home bases and spend a little less, or play a little less at a non-home base?

If you don't have time to answer this question, NO problem as your first answer was what I needed, this second question is more of a second thought.

Now, I just have to see if I can make the pop in work! :D Have a great weekend, and thanks Shifter!

I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's unlikely that an offer already in your account would get pulled on the basis of one day of lower than usual play. You also should be able to book that offer now and then call and adjust the dates if you have to..

Thanks guys! I doubt I can make it work anyways (simply timing-wise), but it's fun to "what if". I wouldn't play a TON less, so as long as they don't pull current offers, I am happy.

    THank you!

You PROBABLY will not loose offers. This is a situation of where that small print MIGHT cause an issue. When they issue offers, it is based on your historical play. When you call in later for an offer, your historical play may have changed enough to have them reconsider, or maybe the dates are now sold out for your level of play.

    Hard to tell for sure.

Back to your question. Using the freeplay will not impact you itself. BUT, since you are now there for a visit and on their radar, you will be tracked for a new average play. Nothing to do with the freeplay specifically.
