Looks like Casino Player Magazine is offering free exhibit passes to G2E again! Sept. 30 - oct. 2.

I had to cancel my trip last year but plan to go this year. I want to go to check out new canival games!

Ok, I'll ask. What does G2E stand for?

I've been getting complimentary passes to G2E Asia every year, including earlier this year, just for being a part of a syndicate that invested in a Macau project like 5 years ago. I've never gone once and I doubt any of the other investors have either.

Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. This is where all the new slot machines and table games are introduced for the next year. There are also seminars for everything related to the casino industry, but those cost extra. This expo is geared towards those in the casino/hotel business, but for degenerate gamblers, the exhibit hall is supposed to be pretty cool.

I went last year and will be going again this year. It was pretty cool! I can't wait, I leave Sept 26! They do give out lots of swag, too. Last year I got a few T shirts and small stuffed buffalo that looked just like the buffalo from the slot machine.
