    I typically play craps/BJ

I bet 25 a hand at BJ and 25 come line Craps with 2-3 25 Place bets and 1x odds.

I usually get scotch or Red bull vodka depending. I'm going with a group of friends. Will they serve us shots? Any hope of better scotch then dewers?

Never have a problem getting shots with my girlfriend but then I consider us decent tippers. 2 shots and two greygoose with mixers minimum 10$.

You say you are going with friends. Is this you playing and then a bunch of people standing by you watching or are they playing as well?

If it is the first, you will have issues depending on the number of people. Anyone who gambles though can get drinks and shots are not an issue if that was the main concern.

No idea on the scotches. Best chance though would be someplace like Wynn or Aria and just ask. If they don't have something better, I'm guessing most don't.

I don't drink Red Bull, but I've been with friends who ordered a drink with Red Bull in it only to be told that they don't have Red Bull, but use Sobe or some other type of energy drink. Sorry, I don't recall which casinos told them no to Red Bull.

Most places will serve you shots, but typically they will ask that you do it when they deliver if you order another drink with it. As the other numeno commented, whether they serve friends will depend on whether they are playing. For shots it shouldn't matter much what level you are playing at. Red Bull availability will vary by casino but all should have a substitute.

I'm not a scotch expert, but your level of play and where you play are going to be the two deciding factors. With your level of play, you shouldn't have a problem playing at Wynn, Aria, Bellagio, or Cosmo, those 4 are likely to give you the best scotch choices. I'm not familiar enough with Venetian/Palazzo to know how it would go there, but based on their poker room comped drinks, it's another spot I would try if looking for better booze.
