I'd like to expel some myths brought up in the recent Resort Fee Thread fiasco.

We would love to have a resort fee thread that is full of discussion that is accurate, hyperbole and sarcasm free. Please help us to do that.

We are moderate posts that are causing trouble in the threads. Not because we love censoring you, but because we're trying to keep threads on topic and snark free. Often you won't see these posts because we're doing our jobs and removing them quickly after they appear.

I am not deleting things because my sponsors tell me to. They don't seem to care what we say here and I would tell them to shove it if they did.

I don't have a grudge or hunger for power. I just want to have a message board where people can come to find accurate information and get judgement free advice without harassment.

If anyone has any questions about the moderation of this board, you are always welcome to send me a PM or an email. The link to email me is at the bottom of every page of the board in the "Contact Us" link.

Corporate Vegas doesn't give a rip what is written about it. Not here. Not in the mainstream press. Not in the alternative press. Not anywhere.

When millions and millions gladly show up, when "publications" like Casino Player cannot apply enough cyberblowjobs to House of Loveman and the like, there is no need to fear backlash from mundane things like bad VP schedules and shoe-dealt even-money blackjack.

It's okay to post "I don't think resort fees are that big a deal."

It's not okay to post "I can't believe how cheap you idiots are."

And it's okay to say that kids might have a rough time in vegas, but it's not okay to say that Orlando is nice this time of year :peace:

    This seems constructive IMO.
