OK I'll be in AC for this weekend for the first time in years... Whats the best hotel to book in? There seem to be many new hotels open, any suggestions? I don't want to spend a fortune.... but I don't want a slum either! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Room rates on Saturday nights are expensive, it really comes down to your budget. $500 will probably get two nights at Harrahs.

Agree, Harrahs is probably the nicest best bet for the money but it's over in the Marina and not on the beach. If you want to be on the boardwalk you will pay more for Ceasars or Taj. Golden Nugget in the Marina area may be worth checking out too, they just rennovated.

The Borgata & Harrah's have hands down been the nicest places in town the last few years - though I'd also consider giving the brand new Revel or even the being remodeled [possibly finished being remodeled?] Golden Nugget AC a try, too.

I agree with Jillly. I'd give the Golden Nugget a try. I've heard that the remodeled rooms are very nice plus the fact that they are fishing for new business and may be offering some kind of deal. Check out their web site http://goldennugget.com/atlanticcity/

    Try the Showboat

The Caesars web site has it for $368 total for two nights this weekend. The Atlantic Club may be worth looking at along with the Nugget

    Thank you all! :nworthy:

I ended up booking with harrah's as I got discounted rate through my TR card. $45 a night. Seems great to me! I haven't been in so long, looking forward to seeing the new boardwalk landscape.

Just as an aside does anyone know off hand if Harrah's has safe's in the rooms?

    Thank you all again.
