For the comp players - don't you get your resorts fees comped off?

I already know I'm paying resort fees. So $150 bucks for 5 nights at CP in the Augustus tower in May. Don't like it but it's still better then paying for the rooms.

I have had all my resort fees comped off on the backend at Mirage, Luxor, Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. When we stayed on a comp at South Point they charged us resort fees and we found that odd as we had the same bankroll and it felt like we had more play through.

Did you ask them to comp the resort fees? I have found out over the years to not "expect" the hotel/casino to comp you out of courtesy. Nor do they mind if you ask them. The worst that can happen is they say "No" and you haven't lost anything.

Just returned from a three night stay at Planet Hollywood. I had three nights comped from a reservation made in June and did not pay resort fees. I am Platinum from play and didn't even give a credit card at check-in. My dad's room was partially comped paying $29.00 & $19.00 for nights two and three and was also not charged a resort fee. He is Platinum via credit card offer.

Just booked a last minute trip comped to Caesars next week, with some free play. I am a platinum player and have been for 5 years. I went to book it online and $25/night resort fee came up at check out. So i called and asked as of November 10th resort fees will be charged on all rooms unless diamond or 7 star.

I just came back from Vegas yesterday. I stayed at PHO for 5 nights comped, and since i'm Gold, i knew my resort fees would be about $125 for the week.
However, compared to PHO in August where i also stayed, i didn't have to pay the resort fees (about $125). TADA!!!

OK, the difference was this time, i used my RW credits along with my gambling RW credits to pay the $125 that i usually pay with cash/CC. I accumulated most of my rewards credits through Social Rewards.

What i did was just use my casino RW credits daily for snacks/soda, about $10 per day. When i checked in the clerk asked me if i wanted to maintain the fee on my credit card, i said no, just leave it open and i will decide what to do at check out.
I decided to use my Social Rewards credits i gathered online to pay the fee. So no credit card and no cash was exchanged.

When i go back in the Spring, i'll have about $500 in RW credits (in addition to my machine credits), So for 5 nights, i paid nothing for the room (on the 36th floor i might add), nothing additional, like resort fees, and nothing for snacks/sodas (but PHO doesn't allow you to use rewards, i already knew that and i did all mine at Paris).

I used my Gold Coast rewards card for lunch/dinner most of the week.

As a side note, Caesar's is really hitting me pretty hard in my mail box because i am so close to 5000 Platinum level. I am now 44+ in tier credits. Caesars's is bombarding me with e-mails nonstop with offers for 2/3 nights comped in Dec/Jan + free play, Elton John, Shania, Nine inch Nails, etc, etc.
But i'm not budging. Platinum doesn't mean crap to me. I was lucky at some machines during the week to get me close, but as someone once said.........."close, but no cigar". Close to Caesar's means spending hundreds of more dollars for just a couple of free nights.

I never gamble just to upgrade to another tier, i gamble to have as less money coming out of my pockets as i can, why still maintaining my gambling budget on a daily basis.

Is that ? for me? Yes, the rewards i get online through Social, goes onto my TR card just like gambling credits. I keep track at the end of the night of my TR rewards. My gambling rewards at the end of the night (when i'm done playing the machines), is about $10-$15. My credits i received online i already knew what it would be, but my rewards credits increased another $10 when i arrived in Vegas. So the accumulation of my Social Rewards (points) surpassed my resort fee (about $125 for the week).

I am still accumulating RW points at home daily on my computer as i speak. I decided to bypass restaurants at CET, like Mesa Grill and the new ones at Paris like Yong Kane Street, and just go with Gold Coast and off Strip eateries for lunch dinner.

This will change in the Spring when i go back to Vegas. I will have tons of credits to use on my resort fees, snacks, and some fine dining. I go solo, but i have looked at the places to eat and they all have counter seating for soloists. Also, getting to/from Vegas in the Spring will be free as well.....LOL.

    Through here: http://web.socialrewards.com/

Once you log in you watch videos, do likes, twitter, etc. You enter each CET property and gather points. Once you've accumulated 1000 points, you redeem those points. It's basically a CET ad that pays you. I do it each day. Caesar's is paying me rewards credits which i then turn into my card balance.

CET also has Caesar's Casino which also gathers points to be used next time in Vegas. When i checked out of PHO yesterday, the clerk took my rewards credit balance in their computer and i didn't have to pay cash or CC for the resort fee. So i get comped rooms and comped resort fees even though i'm only Gold.

I don't think you get points for playing caesars casino. You do get rewards credits for buying tokens though. I do think that TR had sent me a promo to install an app from time to time for a given amount of rewards credits as well.

I'd heard good things about this as well but I stopped for the same reason. I'm not spamming my contacts for a few bucks in credits and not maintaining seperate accounts for that purpose.

You don't have to Tweet to get points, you can do shares instead. I don't instagram and i don't use Caesar's Casino.
I get most of my points using shares and watching Tube videos.

Whenever you use the Internet you are sharing some info no matter what on the web. At Social Rewards i only use getting points the safer way, watching videos, tweeting and liking through Caesar's, taking surveys. All the videos, tweets, likes, and surveys are only about Caesar's properties.

My Vegas from MGM uses the same principal. If you're hesitant on using Social Rewards or My Vegas because you don't want any info out there that may come back and haunt you, then my advice is to not use the Internet at all.

"They" are watching you very closely whenever you click a detergent, diaper, bourbon, or car ad. When you click on TMZ, E, MTV, or whatever, you are putting money in their pockets. I choose to use Caesar's Social Rewards putting money in my pockets, which i used 2 days ago in Vegas at the check out counter to pay off my resort fee.

    @ BCMike

I don't use my friends and relatives or any of my contacts to get points. Social Rewards gives you that option, that's why i only get my points the way i do. I could expand my points by having my contacts be OK with it, but i choose not to use my contacts no matter what. It's me and only me.
The tweets i use at Caesars are only Caesars tweets, not to my contacts. In fact, SR is the only place i tweet online.
