So im flying out of Ohare in two weeks for the first time with Frontier. Did some browsing today and noticed some flights cancelled to vegas. My question is does Frontier try and reschedule these flights or are you just screwed? Couldnt see anything flown out later in the day.
    Thanks

If the following flights are fully booked(usually the case), even if they want to (in fact they don't!) reschedule these flights they have no way to do it.
Those big airlines have the resource (standby airplane and crew) to do it but those cheap/small airlines, not a chance. They are cheap for a reason.

JeJas is correct - this time of year frontier can be a real problem both going to Vegas as well as coming home. I used to fly them a lot out of Milwaukee and ran into this. Not only do you have bad weather in the Midwest, with Denver being their main hub, from November to March storms can hit Denver very quickly and dump a ton of snow there so if your flight has a layover in Denver, you always want to check the weather in Denver as well as from your home airport.

And as JeJas statud, seats on the plane are reserved for ticketed passengers and they always seem to oversell the vegas flights.
