    UGH!!
What is with these new departure times?... 8:53pm?? Arrive LV 9:55pm.
Wow, that makes the stay about 8 hr. shorter!
Of course, the price was right.... $130 round trip, but I sure hate checking in to the hotel so late! Plus a loss of gambling time!

Why the change, do you think? Any chance they will go back to the mid day departure???

This is one way Allegiant is able to keep its prices lower than the norm. It's imperative that they schedule their deaprture and arrivals as efficiently as possible.

Some people really like the evening departure so they don't have to talk a day off of work. I can see it both ways but it does suck losing a half day in Vegas.

When an airline makes a big change like this, the reason is often based on aircraft availability. They (all airlines) have a limited number of planes and try to schedule as best they can to get as many flights a day combined with demand and flight crews. Some city has to get the last flight of the day. And some city, gets a late flight with the plane ready to go early the next day.

All tied to equipment and demand.

At least you will get to arrive when the strip is all lit up and possibly see it from the plane, dependign where you are sitting!
