So at work I routinely take a look at Vegas flight prices just to see if any deals can be had. Well I looked today and there are direct flight from BWI for $59! I have never seen such cheap flights before, $118 round trip! Even though this price only is certain midweek days, even the weekend flights are close to $100 each way. These prices are awesome for a cross country flight! Now I just need to figure out where I can get comped rooms!

    Was it Spirit?

    Then you'd be paying a lot more than $59 each way. . . . . .

Probably Spirit. They dropped it from my local airport, Latrobe PA (free parking!). On some days it's now $68 rt, nonstop for non $9 club members. Just gotta pack light and hope to win on the $50 match play you get from the D.

No extra charge to share a few more details. Advance purchase, Airline, Connections, etc, etc.

    Especially the airline.

I'm not the OP but the airline is SW. The dates seem to be only in June but how can you beat that price if you can go then? We're still thinking about it but family obligations might get in the way. There are some non stops at that price but they don't get in until later in the day- about 7:30, I think and the return gets to BWI at 1:30ish AM.

Hell, why worry about the rooms now. Book while you can and it still is available.

Oops, didn't mean to forget to put Southwest. I almost always fly SW to Vegas and have seen around $90 one way before but never this low, crazy. The flights at this price are nonstop, the last flights of the day both ways, so late flights. Most days this summer you can get flights around $100. The sale they are having says from $130 to Vegas from bwi, funny that these are so cheap.

When supply is huge vs demand, SWA will out do their sales on those flights. Earlier this year, swa was as cheap as $69 each way from midway.

Couldn't resist. We are booked 6/9-6/17. Even though PHL is our airport of choice, we'll drive to BWI for those prices.

Booked the same flight out in June from Dallas @ 59$) return was like 89 or somesuch..

The anniversary (birthday) for SWA is in June and this could be one of those offers. Not all flights. Just opened up the calendar through December and prices are not that low in December but still some cheap ones in October, November if not around holidays. Like the price of gas is so painful as it creeps up (still cheaper than a year ago) so too will the pain return when prices from Dallas return to San Antonio / Austin departures........but cheap for now.....
