I have stayed at the flamingo on my past 2 trips and i was always offered an upgrade via email a few days before leaving but in case i dont get one and i get stuck with my room

Which entry level room is the best between bally's and flamingo, i consider both locations pretty much the same and the price difference is so little that it doesnt really matter

7 night stay is 206$ at flamingo
    7 night stay is 186$ at Bally's

I do know that both Go rooms and Jubilee rooms are great

I've stayed in both, and my experience is that Bally's North Tower rooms, now Indigo tower, is far superior to Flamingo Fab rooms. Bally's rooms are not only much bigger, they are much cleaner. Until last Fall, the North Tower was considered Bally's upgraded rooms. The Flamingo Go Rooms are much better than the basic Fab room. If you're concerned about being placed in the entry level room, I would consider Bally's over Flamingo without a doubt.

Bally's without a doubt. Both towers were recently updated and rooms are awesome!

Definitely Bally's for entry level rooms. Before the Jubilee update, I would book basic room and always be sent to North Tower. Much better chance there than to a Go rooms since I think there aren't as many Go rooms as Jubilee rooms.

2004 is "recently updated"? (Bally's Indigo Tower NOT Jubilee Tower) That being said I still pick Bally's over the Flamingo Fab I think, unless I want the pool scene. Upgrades at either place wouldn't be a bad thing.

I've stayed in both in the last few years. I prefer the Flamingo Go rooms.

Those have nothing to do with entry level rooms

Stayed at both. Bally's wasn't bad, but we preferred the Flamingo.

For entry level rooms, I would pick Ballys. Ballys North Tower does actually have 2 levels of rooms - Classic & Deluxe Indigo. From what I have been able to figure out (and it may be wrong...) the Deluxe is basically former 'Diamond' rooms. BFF was there in April - they paid the upgrade fee from the email offer for Jubilee & she said she actually would have been totally content in the Deluxe room their son had in the Indigo Tower. Although he had a shower/tub combo & no fridge. But she said otherwise his room was really a decent room and she'd have been just fine in that one.
