Hi, I am going to Vegas April 5-11. I reserved a comped room at Bally's for the premium Jubilee! room. Pretty hopeful about the awesome view that I've seen posted. Anyway, I was checking my comped rooms because I do have Ceasar's Palace comped, but in the super old towers. I don't expect to go swimming on those dates since the temperatures will be 70's, which makes Bally's the easier choice.

Anyway, I couldn't help but see that I was comped a "studio" room at the Flamingo. They posted one picture of it, which doesn't have a touch of pink at all, which is the Flamingo's trademark. I was wondering if anyone has more information about these "studio" rooms. The starting rates for these rooms are at $59, but the renovated rooms start at $69. Something seems really fishy about these studio rooms so I am hopeful someone here can provide more information about these rooms. I have attached pictures.

Thanks to anyone who can provide more information about these rooms!!! I'm just wondering if it's worth giving up the awesome Jubilee! room for this.

I was given this room on one of my trips last year. We arrived later in the evening, and said it was all they had. I did not like it at all. It wasn't horrible. Had a separate bedroom. It's bigger than a normal room. A bit dated. One tv in the living area, not the bedroom. Can't remember the bathroom. It was a lower floor. 6 or 8. And it was a pool view. We changed the next morning. Just was not my cup of tea.

I am going to Vegas April 5-9th and was called about upgrading my Go room to a Studio which they now call a mini suite.....all comped. I said yes as it sounded like a great deal.....but I. Curious as well what the rooms are actually like. I called back and asked if the suite they are putting us in has been remodeled and she said no.....but I'm likely to get comped to a Go suite when I arrive, which she said was very nice and recently updated. Wish more would respond to this......

I have the same questions. I have stayed at Flamingo in the past and always research my trips fully. Until recently I had never heard of this room type, I see it as a comped option on TR site. Pics look dated and not renovated, old furniture and website says garden view. I think I will probably pass and stay at Harrah's although free and that extra space is tempting.

Same type of room booked for end of May

Really interested in how this room turned out for you. I just called to change my comp'd reservation from a 2Q NS room and they offered me this 2 double NS Mini Suite (Studio) as an optional upgrade. The word suite was too good to say no to but now I am not so sure...Really appreciate any feedback on your experience in this room type...

    Thanks,
    Matt W

I have not stayed there yet, but:
I had booked the Studio room at Flamingo, but i changed it to a Fab Deluxe room. The rooms are about the same price, in my case only $12, 5 nights comped and Sat. night only $12 (in Nov). What i plan to do is use a $30-$40 tip at check in and try to get a GO room.
I looked at the Studio room and it's just some more sq ft due to the bedroom. The room is the old classic style, not contemporary. I go solo, so the extra room is not needed in this case because it's not upgraded.
Make sure you know what kind of mini suite it is, if it's the Studio room it's the old one, if it's a GO mini suite or any others, you're good to go.
Just remember, the 550 sq ft Studio room is larger, so in a way it's upgraded, but it's not really a "suite" per say, like the GO suite, Metro suite, etc.
    YMMV.
