Looking to get a massage during our stay at the Flamingo. Can anyone offer a review?

    Thanks

I went to the Flamingo spa and had a massage there for the first time during my trip in March. The spa was much smaller than some of the fancy spas, such as Qua, but was very nice.

There was a small workout room, which I avoided like the plague, LOL. Nice hot tub/whirlpool, good steam rooms, nice lounging area while I waited for my therapist to get me. There were drinks and some light snacks available.

The massage was the best I'd ever had, and I've had alot of them. Unfortunately, the therapist was leaving in 2 weeks to go back to college. The massage room was similar to most I'd been in, just fine.

What really impressed me, and I will qualify this by saying there were only a handful of people there at the time, was the staff. When I arrived about 30 minutes prior to my massage, I changed into a swimsuit and took a quick shower, then relaxed in the hot tub. The lady running the spa came in and said I had 20 minutes before my treatment, and that she would come remind me 10 minutes prior so I could dry off, change, get a drink, etc...

This was really nice as I didn't have a watch in the hot tub, and here she came, true to her word, 10 minutes prior. She was also zipping around picking up this and that, organizing, etc....constantly busy. The entire spa was very clean, they definately keep up on it.

I noticed there were plenty of toiletries available, which I did not use. After a massage, I prefer to go directly to my room and veg, so I didn't use the "getting ready" facilities.

So, in summary, I thought it was a nice spa and I will definately return.

    Thanks for the reply.

We normally get massages at the M Resort and haven't really tried anywhere on the strip. We will be at the Flamingo for two nights so thought we would try the pools and spa.

Arrive in a week so looking forward to trying both.
