    Hi,

I hope this is the right place to post this question. If not, I apologize.

Is the linq construction having any affect on parking at the Flamingo? Either Valet or the parking garage?

We're wondering if we rent a car, will it be a hassle getting in/out of the property? I read that the back way using Arville street, I believe, is sometimes closed due to construction.

Any input and advice is greatly appreciated.

We will be there Sept. 3-6th and we are counting the days.LOL

    Thanks,
    K-9treatbaker

I would also appreciate info on the question. I am wondering if you come in from the south side...I think there is a street before you get to Koval that runs behind Bally's, Paris, then crosses the street and runs behind Bill's, Flamingo etc. wondering if you can get to valet parking from that direction for Flamingo.

I took a cab to and from the Flamingo last week during my vacation and there weren't any road changes that I could see coming in from the back. We turned left off Flamingo on the small road beside Bally's (can't think of the name) but it was the same road I've used for years.

I didn't enter coming from the north (like from Harrah's) but we did have to stop at a stop sign for a car that was coming from that way.

So, as of last week, I thought the roads in and out to the Flamingo looked the same as they did the last 10+ times I've stayed there. We did valet park at Harrah's once and the in/out was the same as usual.

When we were there a few weeks ago (Caesars), the mess seemed to be on the north side of the Flamingo, and everything on the south, like parking and such, looked normal.

Parking tips that help me out alot

If you want to go near MGM park at the MGM and you can easily walk around from the Tropicana to the Hard Rock restaurant .

Park at Bills for Paris - Harrahs

Downtown i always park at Binnions free 3 hours with validation

I was there this past weekend, and I want to suggest that you might consider doing the valet thing. I went into the parking lot and had to drive in the lot to look for a spot. It took like forever, and on the particular day I went, I did not find one. I was there just to purchase some show tickets, so I wasn't staying long, but looking for a parking spot took a long time. I would suggest using the valet.

The street behind the casino, just before Koval Ln is Audrie, for those inquiring.

I stayed at Flamingo last month, 7/14-7/20 (Sat to Fri), and had no problems parking. Saturday when I arrived early afternoon is when it seemed the most crowded, but I found a spot. The rest of the week was less crowded. I used self park only, and did not use the valet at all. So I'm not sure about valet, other than to say I did not see any "closed" signs out during the week.

The street behind Flamingo, "Arville" (It's Audrie St., actually) was closed once temporarily, but was not a problem. I just swung around to LVB and entered the Flamingo fron entrance. A bit of a hassle, but that only happended once the entire week. My sense is that there are occasional temporary closures due to constructions, but do not last long.

Thank you Socalvegasfan for giving me the name of the street behind Flamingo. I knew it started with an "A". Lol

We will definitely use valet, should we decide to rent a car.

    Thank you so much.

    valet early

yes enter from Audrie which runs in front of the liquor store and Battista's hole in the wall.
we were there thurs-sat 8/2-5-- and found self parking fine Thurs-Friday.
Saturday we took the car out and returned at 11pm to a full parking garage and full Valet (except for Diamond-TR Members)-luckily we were transporting a Diamond-Member of TR and there is always room for these folks so we were allowed to valet. Someone on the board had suggested parking at Bill's next door.
So Valet and Valet early, i guess.

Yes, Audrie is open up to the Flamingo but closes immediately after. I've stayed there several times over the last year & 1/2 and have never had a problem finding a parking spot in their self-parking garage. Audrie does make it awfully nice getting in & out of the Flamingo. I can't say anything about the valet since I've never used it.

In all seriousness, if you have problems getting in at Flamingo or Bills, go valet at Ballys. You are right at the front of the building & can either walk to the strip & walk up to Flamingo (5 min?) or walk back to the side doors & cut acorss Flamingo Rd at surface level & then cut thru Bills. It's another good option & distance wise is still probably less to your room than some of the mega resorts like Bellagio, Caesars & MGM!!!!

My understanding is that they are letting the time share people use the garage and that is part of the problem. They had to tear down the garage for HGVC and I don't know what they long term plan is for replacing it.

Used self park at Flamingo a few days ago without issue. During peak times on weekends may be different.
