Which room would you stay in at the Flamingo: have never stayed there and would like to try, Fab Deluxe Room with Dbl Beds or the Go Deluxe, not sure which is the nicer room. I do not need a whole lot since I will only be sleeping there but want the room to be decent.

How is the noise level there since they are remodeling that whole area? Has anyone stayed recently to add to this question
    Thanks

GO Rooms much nicer than Fab. I stayed last Sept., stayed on backside of property and construction noise was not an issue.

    Love the Flamingo!

Same here, GO room in November, construction noise not an issue. Have comp FAB for March, expecting (hoping for) upgrade email week before. They also let me check in around 11:50 am which was nice.

FWIW I stayed in a Fab room last year (2 Queens) and it was perfectly fine. Then again, as long as the bed is clean, I'm pretty much OK crashing anywhere.

I'll piggyback this thread and throw my Flamingo question in--

What is the closet and best place to buy snacks, drinks, alcohol, etc.? Particularly looking for a place that might have Pedialyte (the best hangover cure).

As far as I know, there are not CVS/Walgreens nearby? Is Stage Door my best bet?

Another Flamingo-lover here. Definitely the GO room. Haven't stayed there since construction began so can't comment on the noise. Have a great time!

Stayed in a GO room facing Caesars last week - no construction noise.

We went to Stage Door for liquor and bottled water. A 24 pack of water was $8, and a 1L bottle of Smirnoff vodka was $18.95. By comparison, a 750ml bottle of Smirnoff at the liquor store inside Flamingo was $24.95. Totally worth the walk, even coming back with a 24 pack of water on your shoulder.

Have never stayed in a fab room but love the GO rooms. I was last there last summer? noise not an issue at all. I've heard when the Fab rooms were remodeled the bathrooms went untouched. Still if you are just looking for a decent room they should be just fine. The Go rooms are the nicer room to answer your question though.

I would only stay there in a GO room. They have 2 double beds, I had double beds both times I stayed there in a GO room. I didn't have much issue with the construction a few months ago. I just wouldn't try like walking over to Harrah's. But going south is fine.

    The Fab's aren't really remodeled.

I would stay in either one fits your budget* the fab rooms have new flooring, new art on the walls and new bedding style; bathrooms are standard (bathrooms have not been remodeled). Go bathrooms are cool and modern but some might not like the see through effect of the bathroom door and (no tub)shower only. The Go ammenities include better music system if that is important.
For 25-30 dollars a night and a 3-4 night stay I would stay with the fab room, where i have had some incredible views of Caesars. (that's 100 bucks i can spend somewhere else.....)
