I've got a GO room next week. The Flamingo website is very vague about amenities and lacks the kinds of pictures that most other hotels have. I had to go on here and ask about refrigerators, hair driers and coffee makers which is pretty much BS in my view.

Without going thru all 10 pages of that, I want to add that some rooms have a tub & stand alone shower while others have only the shower. If you do need a tub, you may need to make sure you request it at check-in.

here is the the thread ratdoggy is referring to. He/she asked the same question last week, and got several responses. It may answer alot of your questions.

As far as the types of GO rooms, there are two categories: GO Deluxe and GO Luxury w/ View. The main difference as I understand it is the view: the Deluxe rooms face the pool/wildlife habitat, whereas the Luxury rooms face either the Strip/Caesars or South/Bally's. IMO, the south facing rooms are better, given that with the Strip facing rooms, you can hear the music from Pure (across the street @ Caesar's). Not terribly loud, but noticeable.

I've stayed in GO Luxury rooms, but never in one of the GO Deluxe rooms. However, the amenities are the same, as far as I know.

The only other difference I've noticed between the GO Luxury rooms that I've stayed in is that sometimes they have both a tub and a shower, other times, just the shower (the shower is the enclosed, free-standing type). Pointing that out, in case the tub is important to you.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your stay!

The only difference between GO Deluxe and Luxury is that Luxury is a Strip view.

GO room is the best! They are the fully remodeled rooms. You are good :) the only upgrades you could get are a strip view.. or a suite. But those are probably not worth the price to upgrade.
