We're going to be staying at the Flamingo from 5/12-15 in a "Go Luxury with a View" and I just got the following offer in my email:

"Live the suite life at Flamingo! Upgrade from your GO Luxury accommodations to a Go Mini King Suite for an additional $20 per night or a delectable Neapolitan Suite for $125 per night."

I assume that the delectable neapolitan suite is an ADDITIONAL $125 a night so forget that. Anyone know whether it would be worth it to upgrade to the Mini King Suite? All we REALLY want is a great room with a view.......

If it matters, we booked this about five months ago and got a rate of $80/night..... opinions appreciated!

I am trying to upgrade to a GO Room during that time frame. So yeah, go ahead and upgrade and leave another GO Room open.

Mini suite will have a real sofa in it and be larger...rest of room is same furnishings as the GO room. I have read/looked at the mini suites for years, the one thing I have noticed is that they all seem to be in the front facing Caesars and have a big shower but no tub. At least I haven't found anyone yet who had a mini suite with a tub. (Deal breaker for me, hence the obsession with finding info about them). Your Luxury with a view could face either Caesars or Bally's. Totally up to your preferences. I seek out rooms with a sofa but most people are happy with the funky sette thing in the GO room. I upgraded to the Neapolitan a few years ago, paid $150 at checkin to do so. That is a full 2 room suite and had 1.5 baths. At that time they wanted to charge me $75 for the mini, so to me $20 is a great deal.
