Flamingo Fab deluxe vs GO

Planning a nov or dec trip as of right now i can get a feb deluxe room at the flamingo 7 nights for 30$ or a Go Deluxe for 267$

I was wondering if i book the fab room will i get an email from them a week or two before my trip offering me an upgrade to a go room for 20 or 30$ a night

Even at 30$ night it would still be cheaper than booking one right now


The past 2 years i have stayed at PH will this be a big drop off staying at the much older Flamingo? Ph would be 353$ for 7 nights

 

I stayed at PH my first trip and then stayed in a GO room last December for my second trip. While PH is a very nice place and I like the casino there, I loved my stay at Flamingo.

 

The GO rooms at the Flamingo will not be a significant drop off from the PH. I have stayed in GO rooms several times and loved it. The FAB Deluxe rooms may be a different story though. Yes, the FAB rooms have been refreshed and the bedding, etc. updated, but the bathrooms have barely been touched. They are basically the Flamingo bathrooms from the '70s. However, they are functional and given your $30 rate, I would personally chance it and await the email offer or just try to upgrade at check-in.

Earlier this week i had the flamingo for 30$

I check it out today
( comp comp comp comp comp comp comp) and im like great, lets book that its even better than the 30$ deal

But it will only comp me 5 nights and charging me 65$ 35$ for the last 2 days since its (sat-sun)

 

call them. I just ran into a similair situation, they wanted $85 from me for the Sunday of Labor Day. I called and told them what a loyal CET customer I was and how excited I was to switch from Ballys to Flamingo and they knocked it down to $20!
