    My Trip Report

Been to Vegas many times, been a lurking on this forum for a while.

Drove from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, normal driving time 4 hours.
Staying at Flamingo with girlfriend for our Valentine's weekend comp'd with our $50 food credit

Feb. 15 - Checked into our hotel approximately 12:30pm. I've always done the $20 tip trick. Early check in. Originally booked "Fab Deluxe" got upgraded to "Fab Luxury with Strip View" on the 27th floor. Room was towards Caesars Palace/Strip. Very minor construction noise. Didn't bother me. Placed 2 bets at the sportsbook then on our way to Bellegio for the buffet. Had 2 free buffets courtesy of MyVegas game on facebook. Bellegio buffet was okay. Service was great. Front of the line pass even though there was no line at about 2pm. After had food coma, went back to the hotel to rest up a little. Walked to Planet Hollywood to catch our show "The Mentalist". Got VIP tickets for half price about $30 bucks each, 2nd row middle section. Show wasn't that great, lots of talking and at times was a tad funny, but didn't really enjoy it. Stay away (unless they are free tickets). After had Earl's like every trip, they have new limited time sandwich - Pesto Chicken and also Mac n Cheese. Wasn't too bad. Both of my sports bet won, +3k good night.

Feb. 16 - Placed more bets in the morning. Lunch we went to Bacchanal Buffet @ Caesars Palace. Waited approximately an hour. Had a $50 food credit which was used here. Wow, pretty expensive but I guess worth it. $46 after tax? Paid about $40 with my comp which I charged to the room. They have some amazing stuff here. Fresh seafood, meat section, and even chinese duck, fresh made tacos, fresh juices, and a crepe station. Only thing I wish they had was more Japanese items. Food coma AGAIN, was planning for AYCE Yama Sushi off strip (love this place) the next day for our usual dining whenever we go to Vegas, but after 2 buffets, we decided no go. Went back to the hotel again to rest. After our nap, we got ready and placed more night sports bets and off to Treasure Island we went. Had dinner at Kahunaville at Treasure Island since "Mystere" show was at 9:30pm which was next door. Had originally bought $25 Groupon which gave us $50 for dinner entrees only. Had very few selection and food was overpriced and wasn't that great. Service sucked. Only decent thing were the drinks. After went to watch "Mystere" show. Sat in Section 203 Row GG. Bought tickets on eBay for a pretty good deal $70 each. Show was good, but at times were slow. Felt like the "baby act" took it's time and a good 1/3 of the show. Was funny, but didn't pay money to have an adult act like a baby for 1/3 of the show. Wanted to catch the free show outside treasure island, but was already 11:15pm and the last free show started at 11:00pm. Sports bet results - morning got killed and lost my winnings and more. Night bet brought me back to about even.

Feb. 17 Got up a bit early to do a early hockey game bet and some Blackjack. Got killed in Blackjack lost about $2,000. But hockey game did good and again brought me back to about even. Had a late check out at 12PM since game didn't end till around 12:30pm. My Reward Credit took care of my left over buffet bill. Went to "Komex Restaurant" off the strip for our 2nd time. They have really good Kimchi Spam Fried Rice. Then back to home we went not before dropping by Sonics at Victorville for Happy Hour half off drinks! :)

Earned 1,991 Tier Credits from the trip and didn't spend much on the trip!

I agree on Mystere. Still a good show overall though. Too bad you gave back those first days sports bet - that was a big win! Thanks for the report.
