My wife and I stayed at the Paris Hotel and casino from June 12 to June 15. I got a decent price for a flight from Cleveland to Vegas (non-stop both ways - $166 each way. I left Erie, PA and drove to the Cleveland airport. Erie spent a lot of money to expand our airport runway. the paper quoted officials who told us how this would benefit travelers and businesses. I don't see the benefits, and businesses are leaving Erie at an alarming rate. The drive was stress free. I got to the airport too early. The feature on security lines on the Today show scared me. We had a drink in the Cleveland airport. The plane ride was lengthened by 20 minutes because the pilot said that the winds in Vegas made him do a short arc to approach the runway in a safer mode. Check-in took about 20 minutes. The room was very nice. The pool at Paris is adequate. We were able to get two chairs without a hassle. It was "cool" to be at the base of the tower. We saw two shows "MJ Live" and "All Shook Up". We took the Deuce to the Stratosphere . It was very convenient." MJ Live" is very enjoyable; the imitator worked very hard. "All Shook Up" was good also, but "MJ Live" was better. Using the $8 bus pass, we went to Mandalay Bay the next morning. No real luck at Mandalay Bay, the Tropicana, or MGM. I should stick to Total Rewards Casinos. I play slots, mostly pennies. My best hits were at the Stratosphere and Bally's. The best one was $260 on Buffalo Stampede at Bally's. The temps in Vegas right now make me glad that I went earlier in June. the highs were about 95 degrees. I have yet to come home from Vegas with more money than I took. I apologize for the lack of pictures. My tech skills are limited, I could not connect to the internet at Paris even though I was charged a "resort fee".
